Sunrise session, with very low tide. Had to sit in the car for half an hour before there was enough water to get out there. And even then rocks were still sticking out between sets so it was quite scary. Luckily the waves were not too big, shoulder-high.

A small day at Jameos, but good wind and lots of fun because I was not scared of being killed every 10 seconds :D

Light morning session with good waves
Sadly, had a miscommunication with Mark on a wave we shared and he ended up on the rocks.

Stomped one nice Vulcan!

Productive day in Costa
A day of poumping & upwind practice, looping practice, and also rotated my first gecko! For the cherry on top I almost did a Spock!

Best freestyle session in a long tme
I almost didn't go out as I felt lazy and cold. But I forced myself and I'm so glad I did! The wind was stronger than yesterday and I was absolutely flying! I suddenly switched into all-in "Pamir-style" mode and really started going for it! I had some of the most spectacular crashes, but laughed them off and went again!
The energy resulted in the most beautiful spinloop I rotated so far! It was still wet but I got propelled out of the water and planed away!

Small waves and high tide
Still, got wet, and that counts :)
Found a nice natural pool for the family, just meters away from the surf spot.

Barcole style Cucharas
NW wind means bolt offshore and super gusty in Las Cucharas. Still, it was different enough than usual to make it fun.

Offshore Jameos
North-westerly winds mean side-off conditions at the top peak at Jameos. Small wave made it possibly for me to train going late into the lip so I enjoyed it a lot!
Russell's tips and exercises on going upwind starting to take effect: I'm much more efficient in getting back up into the lineup!

Big San Juan
Bobo came over for a visit from Fuerteventura so we went together with Tony to sail San Juan. It was quite big and light, and sadly a tad onshore. Was quite scary at times, and I juuuuust managed to sail back to shore when rain started and wind died of almost completely. Tactical :)
